Tryouts for the 2009 Rippon football team will be on Sept. 9th, 10th, and 11th. Equipment pickup will be at 7:00pm on Sept. 11th, for those who have been at all three tryout dates. The first cut will be posted on the morning of 9/15, if necessary.
You must have a physical, on the Prince William County Middle School physical form, and if must have been given after May 1, 2009.  Physical forms are available in the locker room at Rippon and all middle school front offices in Prince William County or online at www.pwcs.edu.  Be advised that doctors' offices donot have this form and substitute forms are not accepted. 
Physicals will be offered at Rippon on 9/3 at 6:30pm by physicians from Family Medicine of Lake Ridge; cost $25.00. This will be the only time they will be offered at Rippon.
There are numerous walk-in clinics plus the Minute Clinic at select CVS drug stores as alternative locations to obtain physicals.

Equipment needed for tryouts---shirt, shorts and shoes(cleats are not necessary until you make the team).
If you make the team, we supply all equipment except mouthpieces and game socks. We sell mouthpieces for $1.00 and you must buy a team package of t-shirt and home and away game socks. These will be sold after 9/15.
